Grading / wood characteristics
Grade A: No sapwood, very few tiny needle-sized nodes are allowed, straight flow of fibre patterns
Grade B: Sapwood, well-intertwined nodes under 10 mm diameter are allowed. Black nodes under 3 mm diameter allowed. Small radial cracks at nodes and gangs of needle-sized nodes are allowed
Grade C: Sapwood and nodes allowed. Also gangs of nodes and radial cracks at nodes are allowed
